这是 Module Changes（变化）的第二章。上一章学会「我打算做什么」，这一章学会先说愿望、再说打算：I want to win the swimming competition so I'm going to go swimming every day. 想要什么（want to），就为了它做什么（so I'm going to）。A、B 板块孩子们围着一棵 wishing tree（愿望树）挂愿望卡；C 板块读 Penny 和 Andy 上电视节目 Change your life! 的故事，看他们怎样用六个月实现目标；E、F 把话题扩到提分、健身、学好英语、整理房间；G 用歌曲 From now on 收尾，四段歌词全是「从今往后我不……我要……」。单元名 Turning over a new leaf 意思是「翻开新的一页，改过自新」——新学期，正是许愿的好时候。

🧩 重点语法与句型

want to … so … ｜ be going to 复习 ｜ 本单元唯一的语法重点

2.1 结构公式：先愿望，后打算

本单元的核心是把两句话用 so（所以）连起来：前半句说想要什么（want to + 动词原形），后半句说打算怎么做（be going to + 动词原形）。一个愿望配一个行动，这就是「turn over a new leaf」的完整说法。

基本公式结构 I want to + 动词原形 + so + I'm going to + 动词原形💬 I want to win the swimming competition so I'm going to go swimming every day.

前半句：愿望结构 主语 + want / wants + to + 动词原形💬 I want to improve my English.

后半句：打算结构 主语 + be + going to + 动词原形💬 I'm going to read more English books.

只有前半句结构 I want to + 动词原形💬 I want to keep fit.

只有后半句结构 I'm going to + 动词原形💬 I'm going to look up new words in the dictionary.

2.2 主语一变，两个动词都要跟着变

he / she / 人名💬 She wants to get high marks so she's going to study hard.（want 要加 s）

we / they💬 We want to keep fit so we're going to go jogging every day.

第三人称转述💬 Andy wants to join the school running team so he's going to run more every day.

2.3 两个问句 + 一个回答链

What do you want to do?问什么 你想做什么？（问愿望）💬 I want to learn Japanese so I'm going to take a Japanese course.

What are you going to do?问什么 你打算做什么？（问行动，上一章学过）💬 I'm going to read more English books.

How are you getting on?问什么 你近来怎么样？进展如何？（问进度）💬 My English is improving but I want to improve even faster.

2.4 六个高频错误（对照改一遍）

3.1 对话背景

新学年开学，孩子们在wishing tree（愿望树）前挂上自己的愿望卡：Tom 想赢游泳比赛，Peter 想保持健康，Mary 想学日语，Helen 想拿高分，Anna 想增重，Joe 想提高英语，Ben 想当全校最好的讲故事能手，Sally 想画好画。光有愿望还不够，每张卡的下面都配了行动：Peter 和 Anna 分别问 What do you want to do?，Tom 和 Joe 先后示范「愿望 + so + 打算」的完整回答。B 板块换你替其余孩子把话说完。

3.2 对话要点（台词全部来自课本）

① 情境问句台词 The children are making some plans for the new school year. What are they going to do?要点 开篇点题：为新学年做计划

② Peter 问台词 'What do you want to do?'要点 固定问法：What do you want to do?

③ Tom 答台词 'I want to win the swimming competition so I'm going to go swimming every day.'要点 全章核心句：want to + so + be going to

3.4 语言点

so连词「所以」：前因后果。I want to keep fit so I'm going to play more sport.

the school's best storyteller名词所有格's：the school's best ＝ 学校里最好的。

too句尾的「也」：I want to get higher marks too so …

swimming competitionswimming 作定语修饰 competition，说明是什么比赛。

go swimming every daygo + doing 表示去从事某项活动：go swimming / go jogging。

put on weight长胖、增重；反义说法是 lose weight（减肥）。

4.1 故事背景

Penny 和 Andy 在杂志上看到一个有趣的广告：Change your life! Take part in our new TV programme!（改变你的人生！来参加我们的新电视节目！）两人上了节目，主持人给每人定了一个六个月的目标（target）：Penny 要通过 Advanced English Tests 二级，Andy 要加入学校田径队。回家路上两人各自定好计划，努力半年，不但实现了目标，还懂得了一个道理：We can do anything if we work hard enough!

4.2 故事脉络：起因 → 努力 → 结果

起因关键句 杂志广告 → 上节目 → 主持人定下六个月目标'Look at this advertisement for a TV show.' ／ 'Here are your targets for the next six months.'

努力关键句 回家路上定计划；两个月后加码'I'm going to read more English books.' ／ 'I'm going to get off the bus one stop earlier and run home.'

结果关键句 四个月后实现目标，懂得道理，成为节目会员'Well done, children. You've achieved your targets.' ／ 'We learned that we can do anything if we work hard enough!'

4.3 课本 P12 问答题（照课本问法，答案直给）

How long did Andy and Penny have to achieve their targets?答 Six months.

What did Penny decide to do to achieve her target?答 She decided to read more English books.

What else did she do to improve even faster?答 She looked up new words in the dictionary when she read.

What two things did Andy do to achieve his target?答 He ran more every day and got off the bus one stop earlier and ran home.

What lesson did Andy and Penny learn after six months?答 They learned that they can do anything if they work hard enough.

Have you ever achieved anything difficult through your hard work?答 Yes. I practised every day for a month and passed my swimming test.

4.4 读后思考

What else can the children do?（课本 P11 思考题）参考答案 Penny can watch English programmes and movies without Chinese subtitles. Andy can walk up the stairs every day.

为什么目标要定成 six months，而不是一星期？参考答案 因为大目标要拆成每天的小行动，天天坚持才做得成；一星期根本来不及。

Penny 两个月后为什么还要加码？参考答案 因为 My English is improving but I want to improve even faster——提高了还不够，要更快地提高。

用本单元句型说一句你自己的目标。参考答案 I want to get higher marks so I'm going to revise my lessons every evening.

4.5 语言点：六个值得学的写法

saw an interesting advertisementsee 的过去式是 saw；interesting 修饰 advertisement。

It sounds like fun主语 it 后动词加 s；sound like + 名词，听起来像……。

Two weeks later, …时间 + later，故事常用的过渡写法。

meet the targetsmeet 在这里是「达成」目标，不是「遇见」。

How are you getting on?问候近况的固定句：近来怎么样？

if we work hard enoughif 条件句；enough 后置，修饰 hard。

4.6 复述支架：四句话讲完整个故事

第 1 句 交代起因One day, Penny and Andy saw an advertisement for a TV show called 'Change your life!' and took part in it.

第 2 句 说出目标The host gave them targets for six months: Penny was going to pass level two of the Advanced English Tests, and Andy was going to join the school running team.

第 3 句 说出努力Penny read more English books and looked up new words in the dictionary. Andy ran more every day and got off the bus one stop earlier to run home.

第 4 句 说出结果Six months later they achieved their targets, and they learned that we can do anything if we work hard enough.
