中国开展南极科考40多年来，始终坚持守望相助、重视国际合作，开展多种形式的联合研究。正在进行的第42次南极考察就有来自泰国、智利、葡萄牙等十多个国家和地区的科研人员参加。在北极领域，中国通过参与北极理事会有关工作、举办“中国—北欧北极合作研讨会”、开展北冰洋科学考察等，积极向国际社会提供对话合作平台、分享科研成果。 Over the past 40-plus years since China started the Antarctic scientific expedition, we have always acted in the spirit of mutual support, attached importance to international cooperation, and conducted joint research in various forms.
