10.5 Computer Mediated Communication（计算机媒介沟通）
Computer-mediated communication (CMC) refers to communication that takes place between human beings via the instrumentality of computers.
计算机媒介沟通（简称CMC），指的是人与人之间通过计算机完成的所有交流。
简单理解：不靠面对面说话，借助电脑、手机等设备完成的沟通，都叫CMC。
To put it simply, CMC refers to any communication done through devices like computers and mobile phones, rather than face-to-face conversation.
10.5.1 Mail and News（电子邮件与新闻组）
Electronic mail, or e-mail, is one of the earliest and most widely used forms of CMC, allowing users to send written messages, documents and media files to others through computer networks. Newsgroups are online discussion groups where people share opinions and information on specific topics.
电子邮件（E-mail）是最早、最常用的CMC形式，能通过网络发文字、文件和媒体资料；新闻组是线上讨论圈，大家围绕一个主题分享观点。

PowerPoint（简称PPT）是演示软件，能制作带文字、图片、图表和动画的幻灯片，让演讲、汇报更清晰生动。

聊天室是多人实时发消息的线上空间；脸书、微信是社交平台，集聊天、分享、互动、建群于一体。

线上沟通里，我们常用情感表达、明喻等修辞，搭配表情包、梗图，弥补缺少的面对面情感线索，让情绪传递更生动。
